Chaz Dean - From a very involved professional for over 50 years...
I am a third generation Cosmetologist, and have many years of salon experience, plus stage and platform work. I taught professionals through the years, in the trend release shows, twice a year, here in California. I traveled in a private jet with Jerri Redding, educating professionals, and modeling as well.
I have been using WEN for the last 4 years. I love the different fragrances, and my fine textured, frizzy, curly, thick hair felt really silky, but the texture became even more frizzy, so I used a lot of the "fixatives" like the anti frizz setting agent and the hair balm... I have noticed that my hair has become very thin and fine! Never before in my life has my hair felt so thin, plus it has been breaking off at an alarming rate! I thought that maybe it was because I am getting older, and I am losing hormones...
I have just about all of my clients using WEN, and now I am seriously thinking that I should have them quit using this product. How embarrassing! I was so sold on this all natural, botanical, miracle working shampoo and all of the other products. The COLD water concept was something I knew about forever, and have always taught. That is what got my attention on the informercial. Then as I listened to the advertisements I liked the idea of holding the hair color, (which COLD water will automatically do anyway) and being all natural.
So I tried WEN, and have given it several years, thinking I wanted to completely replace my long hair with nothing but hair cared for by WEN.
I am hoping my hair will grow back in as thick as it used to be...
I have tons of product here for resale, plus back bar gallons of product, that I am seriously thinking of dumping. What a waste of time and money! (these products are very expensive as well!)
I am pretty upset, and mortified! Deb
